Due to scheduled maintenance, several ABOS portals will not be available on Saturday, November 23rd from approximately 12:00 am to 6:00 am ET. This includes the ABOS Dashboard, ABOS KSB Portal, ABOS Residency Activities Portal.
Results for the 2024 ABOS Computer-Based Recertification Examination will be posted by 5 pm ET on Friday, December 13.
If you choose to participate in the ABOS WLA, you must have already earned a Quality Year. If you did not, you must wait until your next 10-year MOC cycle starts.
You must achieve five Quality Years by 2025. A Quality Year is achieved by correctly answering 24 out of 30 questions.
You must submit your Professional Standing Update, Professional Standing Update Fee, and Case List by December 1, 2026. (You can submit them as early as 2024.) You have until December 31, 2027 to meet the CME/SAE requirements.
